Year on year, Orion trawls are againing the clients preference as "go to" trawl. With diamond mesh, Orions trawl is designed to fish at lower speed without compromising trawl parameters nor catch ability.

Most popular models are versions of Orion are Orion-S (184/1408), Orion-M (229/1760) and Orion-L (290/2200)

Key features of ORION trawls: 

• Rope part is made with variable Diamond mesh with 8-16mm nylon ropes.
• Distinctive colour painting, which facilitates work on the deck in maintenance of a trawl.
• Head- and sidelines are made from high braided rope Dyneema® SK 75.
• Bottom line of the trawl is made with grade 95 marine Trygg chain.
• Net-part is designed to reduce accidents, improve the shape and performance.
• Made with a combination of 4, 8 and/or 16 panels.
• The standard mesh size is 2400, 1600, 1200, 800, 400 and 200 mm made of braided models of PA fix.
• Connection cables and mesh parts are made to avoid trawl twisting.
• Cod-end is 65 meters long. Designed to catch at over 250 tonnes of fish.
